Born in Carcassonne in 1968, Yves Jeuland has written and directed around thirty documentary films. Alternating between archival footage and direct cinema, his work focuses on observing French society in both the past and present, as well as the political and the artistic worlds.
Some of his biggest successes include Le Président with Georges Frêche, Les Gens du Monde, Un temps de Président, and documentaries devoted to some of cinema’s great artists such as Charlie Chaplin and Yves Montand.
