Ellen Fiske’s debut feature Scheme Birds won Best Documentary Feature and Best New Director award at Tribeca in 2019. Lena Dunham wrote “This is the most profoundly skilled and empathetic film of the year”. In 2020 Fiske won the prestigious Prix Europa Iris award for her next film Josefin & Florin. In 2024 her film Leaving Jesus premiered at Gothenburg film festival and was critically acclaimed.
