Emerging filmmaker Mattias Bavré graduated in 2021 with his film Z Bratem (‘With My Brother’) from KASK School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium, which won the Grand Prix for Best Belgian Student Short at Film Fest Ghent.
Zlata is his first feature documentary, which was made with the support of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and the Belgian Tax Shelter, and in coproduction with public broadcaster VRT.
