Dans une petite communauté villageoise dans le nord du Sierra Leone, un fermier doit se battre quotidiennement pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille. Malgré ses ressources limitées, il part à l'aventure, tout en portant avec lui le poids de la responsabilité d'assurer un meilleur avenir à ses enfants.
