Sanne Rovers is a Dutch documentary and multi-media director focusing on youth, nature, art and music. Her documentary films have a strong cinematographic and playful approach. She searches for sensitive stories about dedicated people while not losing the light hearted moments in life. In her music film Crazy Days (2021) she combines the emotional power of opera music with documentary storytelling. Her film The Long River Slides (2019) premiered at IDFA as part of the IDFA Live on Stage section.
