Mariusz et son fils Mateusz sortent de prison. Leur récente détention leur a permis de réfléchir à leur propre vie. "Comment étais-je censé devenir un homme ?" dit l'un d'eux. Ils se demandent s'ils peuvent échapper aux stigmates de l'emprisonnement.
