Halina est l’une des dernières chanteuses funéraires de Podlasie. Son fils Andrzej est fossoyeur. Ils ont accompagné des milliers de personnes passées dans l’au-delà. Il creusait, elle chantait.
Tout au long de leur existence, la vie a été mêlée à la mort. La vie ordinaire et les esprits. La réalité et le rêve.
La complainte funèbre rompt le silence.
