Une femme. Une mère. Une partisane d’une vie à la marge. Elle utilise un traîneau en guise de voiture, ses panneaux solaires ne sont pas assez puissants pour faire fonctionner une lampe. Pourtant, elle est fière de sa liberté : pas de factures d'électricité, pas d'hypothèque – pas besoin de travailler de 9 h à 17 h.

Eva Kübar (1981) is an Estonian filmmaker, culture critic and film teacher. Creatively Eva is most interested in the liminal areas between human and animal where colorful characters can be found. Her documentary “Feathers or Glam” shows the joys and pitfalls of keeping chickens in cities, her first feature length documentary “ My Partners” talks about polyamorous people who have more than one intimate partner. Her film "Hilda Ha. Off the Grid" was screened at FIPADOC 2025.
