En Roumanie, MamaPan est une boulangerie pratiquant l'économie sociale. Une entreprise qui fait une énorme différence dans la vie des femmes qui y sont employées, toutes mères célibataires en situation précaire : sans-abri, analphabète, rom. Mais les meilleures intentions, des patronnes comme des employées, se heurtent à la concurrence.

Serban has more than 20 years of experience in documentaries and advertising as an editor, producer and director.
His personal projects include his coverage as cameraman and director of the documentary the first 100% Romanian expedition on Mount Everest in 2003; A Traveller for Life – a 36 adventure-and-culture TV series that he filmed and directed himself; Cabbage, Potatoes and Other Demons – premiered at DokLeipzig 2016 and broadcasted among others at UN FOA, a premiere for the organisation.
