De Malmö en Suède, à Camino de Finisterre en Espagne, Erik, 27 ans, fait un pèlerinage. Erik est né dans le mauvais corps – féminin. Il se bat avec sa dysphorie de genre et des antécédents d’abus, d’intimidation et d’isolation. Son burnout et son amour pour Martyna le poussent à changer de vie. Le film suit Erik pendant 10 ans de sa vie.

Nettelbladt have made several noticed documentaries. Holds a Master degree in directing from the Valand Academy and graduate of Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. She also studied psychologi at the University and have a long knowledge of working with marginalized groups in the society. Her previous documentary features, ” I Am My Own Dolly Parton, was praised by critics, and ” MonaLisa Story was nominated best documentary 2017 at Guldbaggen and achieved several prizes in Sweden and abroad.
