Zaki, un peintre palestinien, travaille sur la maison de Rina, une femme juive israélienne de 94 ans, depuis plus de trente ans. Avant chacune de ses venues, la vieille femme déplace les canapés du mur, plie les photos et prépare le déjeuner. L’histoire d’une possible amitié qui se tisse sur fond de moments partagés autour de repas.

Ilay Mevorach, 28, Born in Jerusalem, currently living in Tel-Aviv. Studied at the Film and Television Department of Tel-Aviv University. Writer and director of "Open your eyes" (award winning short fiction film, 2018). Screened in over 30 international film festivals, among them: Clremont Ferrand, Cleveland, Palm Springs Shortfest, Encounters Film Festival Bristol. "Rina and Zaki" is his first documentary film.
