Hanan accompagne son frère à son cours de natation. Le professeur explique que la première médaille est appelée « Seahorse » car l’hippocampe ne peut pas se noyer. Quand Hanan a rejoint l’Europe en canot, elle ne savait pas nager. Pour surmonter ce traumatisme, elle a appris à nager, c’est maintenant au tour de son petit frère.

Nele Dehnenkamp works as a freelance author and director for documentary films, reports and radio features. She studied social sciences in Berlin and New York and documentary film directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In her mostly observational works, she examines the multi-layered experiences of dream and trauma, often from the perspective of women. Her films have been shown at internationally renowned festivals such as IDFA, DOK Leipzig and in Palm Springs and have received awards.
