Avec l'aide de sa famille, Davide Ferrario décrit un lieu unique et tente de saisir et de représenter l'idée universelle chère à Eco d'une bibliothèque en tant que « mémoire du monde ».

Davide FERRARIO
Born in 1956, he grew up in Bergamo and lives in Turin. A critic and essayist, he founded a distribution company that introduced Italian audiences to Fassbinder, Wenders, Wajda, etc. He has worked as Italian agent for American independent filmmakers such as John Sayles and Jim Jarmusch.
He made his debut as a director in 1989 with The End of the Night, judged ‘Best Independent Film’ of the season. After Midnight (2004) won the Berlin Forum and was a great international success. His most recent works are the documentary Nuovo Cinema Paralitico with the participation of the poet Franco Arminio and, as director, two feature films for cinema released in 2021, Boys produced by Lumiere&Co and Blood on the Crown, an international co-production shot entirely in Malta, starring Harvey Keitel and Malcolm McDowell.
He heads his own production company, Rossofuoco.
