Night Cleaners

Hanna is a freelance journalist, documentary filmmaker and podcaster. As a documentary filmmaker Hanna’s strengths lie in conducting meaningful interviews and in a visually fascinating style. She aims to find the small but extraordinary in the ordinary and likes to depict everyday people, lifting them up through a poetic cinematic language. Hanna also works as a producer for the American documentary podcast Pure Nonfiction, hosted by Thom Powers. She works fluently in three languages and is used to working under difficult circumstances and all over the world. Her films have been screened at festivals from New York to Dhaka and her master’s thesis from the School of Visual Arts, Night Cleaners, was shortlisted for a Student BAFTA Award.
