Smart recognises the best digital documentary experience for its originality and coherence between its subject matter and technological resources. It is endowed by the Department Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64) with €3,000.
SHORT FILM DOCUMENTARY AWARD
The Short Film Award recognises the director of the best international film with a maximum length of 20 minutes. It is endowed with €3,000.
CINÉ+ AWARD
The Ciné+ Award crowns a cinema feature film across the selections: International Documentary, National Documentary, Musical Documentary, Impact.
It is endowed by Ciné+ with €15,000 in rights purchase.
ORIGINAL SCORE AWARD
The Sacem Award for Original Score recognises the composer for a film in the French Documentary category. It is endowed by Sacem with €3,000.
YOUNG EUROPEANS AWARD
The Young Europeans Award crowns a film from the European Stories competition.
It is endowed with €3,000 by the ERASMUS+ France Agency / Education Formation.
NEW TALENT AWARD
Awarded to the best film in the New Talent Selection, with €3,000 in prize money from the Fipadoc.
POUR LES FEMMES DANS LES MÉDIAS AWARD
This Award crowns the best french female filmmaker across the selections International Documentary, French Documentary, Musical Documentary, Impact and Francophone Panorama. The €1,000 prize is endowed by Pour les femmes dans les médias association.
TËNK AWARD
The Tënk Prize is awarded to the best documentary of the New Talent competition. The director of the winning film will receive €500 in prize money and his or her film will be streamed on the platform.
MICHEL MITRANI DISCOVERY AWARD
The Mitrani Award crowns a first or second film across the selections: International, National, Musical, Impact and Francophone Panorama.
The €3,000 prize and a broadcast is endowed by France Télévisions. The jury is made up of representatives from professional guilds and from France Televisions.
COUP DE CŒUR DANS LES MURS AWARD
The prize is awarded by a jury of inmates from the Bayonne house of detention, it rewards a film in the Panorama of French speaking creation.
The prize is a new initiative set up in 2023 by the Fipadoc.
HUMAN RIGHTS IN MOTION AWARD
The Human Rights in Motion Award honours the director of the film which best promotes human rights or the fight for democratic values. It is chosen by the Impact Documentary Jury and is endowed with €5,000 by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe..
