Réalisation
Noura KEVORKIAN
Maria and her family are seasonal workers from Syria who harvest potatoes in Lebanon every year but for the past 10 years, the chaos in Syria has made it impossible for them to return home. They are now refugees, surviving with the help of their employer; the field of potatoes (‘batata’) has become a refugee campsite where hope springs eternal.
