Miguel Eek (Madrid, 1982) graduated in Documentary Filmmaking at ESCAC. He has developed his projects in trainings such as EURODOC or IDFA Academy. He has worked as an editor and director of documentaries, fiction and documentary series in several production companies until 2007 when he founded Mosaic. He currently combines the direction of his projects with the executive production of works by other authors. His films have been selected in festivals such as IDFA, Docaviv, Malaga, Doc Edge, Seminci and Doxa, where he has won a dozen international awards. He is a member of the associations DAE, DOCMA and PROA, which recognized him as Best Producer of the Year in 2020. In 2019 he created the MajorDocs festival, of which he is artistic director.
