This film is a rare look into, past and present lives of Nona Gaprindashvili, Nana Alexandria, Maia Chiburdanidze, & Nana Ioseliani as well as a chronicle of their legacy.

Anna KHAZARADZE
Anna Khazaradze is the co-founder of 1991 Productions, a Tbilisi-London-based company specializing in European co-productions of fiction and documentary films. She co-produced Crossing, which opened Berlinale Panorama 2024, and produced Smiling Georgia (2023), which premiered at Karlovy Vary. Anna also co-directed Glory to the Queen (2020), which screened at 25 festivals worldwide.
Currently, she is involved in the development & production of Tear Gas, 9-Month Contract and Berliner. Anna holds a degree in Film and Television from the London College of Communication (UAL).
