Le Silence de la mer, une édition dans la Résistance

Paris 1942, under Nazi occupation, Pierre de Lescure and Jean Bruller-Vercors, founders of the underhand publishing house, Les Éditions de Minuit, engaged in their first act of civil resistance: a novel called The Silence of the Sea. The making and release of the book will turn out to be a highly risky undertaking for all those taking part in it.
