Ahmet Necdet Cupur worked for three years in Iraq and Afghanistan during the war as a civil engineer. He decided to become a director and moved to Paris. Two years after his arrival, with funding from the CNC, he directed his short film 'Latin Babylon'. When he finished his film, he returned to his native village, after twenty years of absence, with the idea of making a documentary about his family: 'Les enfants terribles'.
