My Favorite War
Réalisation
Ilze BURKOVSKA JACOBSEN
In the 70s, Latvia was a member of the Soviet Union. Ilze uses animation to tell the story of her childhood there during the Cold War. Originally a fervent communist, she sharpens her critical thinking as much as she can against nationalist indoctrination. Can she achieve true freedom of thought during her teen years?
