Reconstructing Utøya

Carl Javér, born in 1972 in Gothenburg. A double Guldbagge winner (Swedish National Film Award) that has worked as a director and editor on several documentaries since leaving film school (Documentary Film Production at Biskops Arnö, 1993-94). He has directed seven documentaries including three major documentary series. His latest documentary Reconstructing Utøya had its international premiere at the Berlinale Film Festival and his former work, Freak Out, was on cinema in Sweden, broadcasted on ARTE and won 10 film festival prizes. He is a workshop leader and lecturer in documentary filmmaking and dramaturg in documentaries. Co-Owner of Vilda Bomben Film AB.
