Thom Zimny is an Emmy and Grammy-winning filmmaker known for his documentaries on legendary artists. Recent projects include The Beach Boys (2024), co-directed with Frank Marshall, and Willie Nelson & Family (2023), which premiered at Sundance. He also directed SLY (2023), a documentary on Sylvester Stallone, and Letter to You (2020) for Apple TV+.
Zimny has had a long collaboration with Bruce Springsteen, directing Springsteen on Broadway (Emmy-winning), Wings for Wheels: The Making of Born to Run (2005), which won a Grammy and The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town (2010).
