Khavaj, a young MMA fighter, fled Chechnya when his brother discovered his homosexuality and promised to kill him. Facing the shock of exile, he is struck by mutism. Forced to live in total anonymity to escape the Chechnyan diaspora, he tries to build a new identity, a new voice.
