Sára TIMÁR

Sára Timár was born into a family of Hungarian folk dancers. She holds a Master's degree in History from ELTE University in Budapest and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. She then studied photography and fine arts at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest.
Sára's photographic work has been exhibited at renowned art festivals worldwide, including Amsterdam, Basel, Copenhagen, Odessa, and Budapest.
Her debut documentary, Under the Dance Floor, was developed as part of EURODOC (2020) and IDFAcademy (2021).
