Kirill Patou, 35 years old, is looking for a soulmate but cannot find her. To experience the ideal romance, he escapes into an imaginary life. He becomes, through his drawings, a valiant knight who declares his love for the princesses of his dreams. However, Kirill has Down's syndrome, and reality always shows him to be different.

Noé Reutenauer was born in Paris in 1991. After a bachelor's degree in theater and cinema in France, he moved to Brussels and entered the Institute of Broadcasting Arts. In 2014, he directed "Update", a short fiction film featuring a burned-out bureaucrat who escapes into an artificial paradise. In 2015, he directed "Zoufs", a short film about the lives of seven people with mental disabilities, including Kirill Patou, the protagonist of his first feature film.
