We follow a photographer chronicling the changing of the times, old folk singers and young musicians, all living in the hilly wine-growing region of Haloze. Incorporating photography, local poetry, song and music, the film is a subjective meditation on the ties of memory and the creative potential of solitude.

Born 1991 in Maribor. In 2014 he graduated from film and television directing at theAcademy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana and finished his masters degreewith a documentary feature film “The End” in 2018. In the same year he co-directed a documentary film »Alejandra«. »A tree grows in my dreams every night« is his firstprofessional film.
