After a university scientific training, Jean-Christophe Ribot entered Louis Lumière National School where he learned camera operating and screenwriting. For fifteen years, he has been making documentary films for the Arte and France Télévisions broadcasters. His films, which often touch on the field of science and exploration, have won awards at numerous international festivals. Jean-Christophe Ribot is also a reader for several regional and national selective commissions (CNC), both in fiction and in documentaries. He also provides training in workshops and is regularly requested as a script doctor.
