Between 1940 and 1942, Charlotte Salomon created 1,300 paintings. She recounts her life as a young girl in Berlin, the rise of Nazism and anti-Semitism, up to the moment when she escapes to the south of France. Using layers, she interweaves texts and musical references in her paintings.

Muriel COULIN
Director and cinematographer, Muriel Coulin directed documentaries including "L'homme sans douleur", for Arte, before moving on to fiction. In 2019, she is directing her first play: "Charlotte," based on the work of Charlotte Salomon and the novel by David Foenkinos. The play sold out for months in several national theaters (2020/2021).

Delphine COULIN
After graduating with a degree in literature and a diploma from Sciences Po, Delphine Coulin worked at ARTE France as head of programs. Her books have all met with critical and public success, and have been translated into a dozen languages. "Samba pour la France" was adapted into a film by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache.
