Sanne Rovers is a Dutch documentary and multi media director. In 2019 her film The Long River Slides premiered at IDFA and had a special live event combination of film and musical performance in the IDFA Live on Stage section. Her short documentary Homo Ludens (2018) won the Audience Award at the Go Short Film Festival. Her documentary films have a strong cinematographic and playful approach. She searches for sensitive stories while not losing the light hearted moments in life.
