Malta, 2017. Daphne Caruana Galizia is assassinated. The attack, which silenced the anticorruption journalist, did not silence her investigations. For three years, the ‘Forbidden Stories’ collective has united 45 journalists to work on Project Daphne to follow her work and find out who was behind her murder.

Jules Giraudat is a French investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker. He was deputy editor of Forbidden Stories from 2017 to 2019. The organization won the Special award of the European Press Prize in 2019. In 2020, he codirected the documentary series in 4 episodes “Green Blood Project”, broadcast on French public television and on Amazon Prime in Europe. The documentary series was part of the Hot Docs’ official selection and was selected in festivals in 6 countries.
