Caroline DARROQUY
Caroline Darroquy's career as a filmmaker is guided by a desire to highlight the stories of people who courageously commit themselves to help build a better world. In her documentaries, she adopts a social and political approach.
In her first documentary, she tells the story of Bakthiyar, an Iraqi Kurdish journalist awaiting political refugee status in France. In 2017, in the context of a tragic migration crisis, her experience as a solidarity host led her to continue her filmmaking work with Défi de solidarité (selected in numerous festivals). She then co-directed Dessine-moi un visage (France 5 - Le Monde en Face), which explores the extraordinary resilience of children with different faces. With Les enfants de Vercheny (France 3 - La ligne bleue), she keeps working on supporting vulnerable people.
