A young Iraqi journalist who had taken refuge in Europe decided to return to Mosul, which had just been liberated from ISIS control. In 2017, he set up the first independent radio station, free of political and advertising support. Radio One FM denounces corruption and reaches a large audience but is facing pressure from militias and financial instability.
