Rafa Arroyo is a director and cinematographer from La Mancha who transitioned from a career in telecommunications engineering to pursue his true passion for cinema. He began by directing short films and working in the advertising industry. His recent project, the documentary short Soul Lines (2021), a heartfelt tribute to his mother's life, was nominated for a 2023 GOYA Award. Now, he presents his latest work, Emilia (2024), a documentary exploring themes of love and the unchosen family.
