Claude Lanzmann’s 10-hour film Shoah is a major work of cinema and history. This film immerses us in the rushes shot between 1976 and 1981 that were not used in the final cut, and in Lanzmann’s memories, bringing us closer to his obsessions about the extermination of the Jews by the Nazis, allowing the truth to emerge from nothingness.
