"Gégé" is a 3rd generation farmer from the Normandy countryside. During the 90s, severely in debt, he turned his farm into a youth center. But with no successor and an eviction threat, his farm could disappear, and along with it an original point of view on education and society.

Florent Verdet lives in the southwest, in Najac, after having spent many years in Paris, on the other side of the ring road. After studying at the University of Paris 8, and with the advent of HD video, he became a director of photography for cinema and documentary. Then Florent Verdet evolves professionally and becomes a producer of creative documentaries, within the company entre2prises, which he created in the years 2000. Gégé is his fifth film.
