ARNAUD ROBERT (1976) is a Swiss journalist, filmmaker and writer. His work has been published by National Geographic, Le Monde, Le Temps, La Repubblica, Néon, Les Inrockuptibles, Vibrations and others. He is a regular contributor to Radio Télévision Suisse. He is the author of five documentaries (Bamako is a miracle, Bondyé Bon, Gangbé!, La Grande Bataille des toilettes and Happy Pills). His films have been selected at Visions du Réel, FipaDoc and the Festival Dei Popoli. They have also won awards at the Vues d'Afrique festival in Montreal and the Jean Rouch Festival in Paris. 
He is also the author of several books, including Hors-Bord, a series of seven volumes co-written with the painter Frédéric Clot, STATE (ed. Photosynthèses, Arles) with Paolo Woods, Journal d'un Blanc (ed. De L'Aire, Vevey), a compilation of his columns in the Haitian newspaper Le Nouvelliste. In 2016, he also wrote the book 50 Summers of Music on the Montreux Jazz Festival (Textuel).
In 2008, he was one of the designers of the exhibition Vodou, un art de Vivre (Vodou, an art of living), created at the Musée d'Ethnographie in Geneva and subsequently presented in ten countries. Arnaud Robert won the Jean-Dumur Journalism Prize, the Prix des Radios Francophones Publiques and, in 2020, the Swiss PressAward for his investigation into the toilet revolution, which appeared on Heidi.News and in the magazine XXI.
