In Cameroon homosexuality is a crime. In 2013 young journalist Eric Lembembe was tortured and beaten to death because he was fighting for the recognition of gay rights. Shocked by this murder and its motives, the director returned to his native Cameroon. As he examines his own homophobic upbringing, he discovers first-hand that Lembembe's murder was not an isolated case.
