The House of Migrants in Gao, Mali, is a refuge at the southern edge of the Sahara desert. Esther and Kady, two teenage girls from Burkina Faso, on their way to migrate, form a friendship with a migrant woman whose memory fainted over the years, along with her hopes of regaining her home.

Ousmane is associated with DS Productions in Bamako, where he is a producer, director, cinematographer and editor. His latest feature documentary The Last Shelter was screened at the IDFA Forum in 2019 (roundtables) and 2020 (rough cut) under the working title Les témoins de l'ombre. With this project, Ousmane participated in the IDFA Summer School and the IDFA Academy in 2019.
