For more than twenty years, Philippe Picard and Jérôme Lambert have been writing and directing documentary films after a meeting at the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne. Culture and history are their favorite fields. They are particularly interested in historical phenomena and categories of population that are little dealt with by historians and that the long time ends up revealing. At the same time, they have made several documentaries devoted to humor and caricature.
