Michael BORODIN
Michael Borodin was born near Tashkent, in 1987. He made his first film at the age of 18. In 2010, he moved to Moscow to study filmmaking, where he first led the life of an illegal immigrant. He worked all kinds of odd jobs, then had a chance to pursue his passion for film. In 2018, his short Normal was selected by La Semaine de la Critique. His feature Convenience Store was premiered at Berlinale 2022. Michael works and lives in Uzbekistan making films on pressing social issues.
