Mobutu’s Game
Réalisation
Wendy BASHI, Guillaume GRAUX, Joost VANDENSANDE
Joseph-Désiré Mobutu was born in 1930 in the Belgian Congo. The young soldier betrayed and assassinated his rivals before his CIA- and Belgium-backed coup d'état in 1965. Then, he opposed his former colonial protectors, and Congo became Zaire... Mobutu established a bloody dictatorship for 32 years, siphoning off the country's resources for the benefit of his megalomania.
