Farnaz JURABCHIAN
Farnaz Jurabchian is an independent filmmaker based in Tehran. She earned a degree in cinema from Concordia University in Montreal. Her first documentary, Overruled, about exiled Afghan tennis players in Tehran, premiered at Hot Docs 2016 and won several international awards. Her second and first feature-length film, Silent House, an autobiographical documentary, premiered at IDFA 2022 and was nominated for the DFA Award for Best Film. Silent House won the Mitrani Award at Fipadoc, ranked in the top 5 audience favorites at Hot Docs 2023, and was broadcast on France 2 (25 nuances de doc).

Mohammadreza JURABCHIAN
Mohammad Reza Jurabchian is an Iranian filmmaker and photographer based in Tehran. He studied photography at Azad University and was recognized as one of the top photographers at the 10th Iranian National Photography Biennale. His first documentary, Overruled, about exiled Afghan tennis players in Tehran, premiered at Hot Docs 2016 and won multiple international awards. He co-directed Silent House with Farnaz Jurabchian and co-founded the production company F&M Productions with her.
