After discovering some undeveloped negatives that belonged to his grandfather, the filmmaker begins an investigation to dig up the stories
of his ancestors, driven by the question of how the past influences the present and the fragility of memory, which disintegrates over time.

Manuel Del Médico (Buenos Aires, 1994) studied film direction at ENERC. He directed the short films Terpeniev and The Commune. His documentary Terpeniev has been screened at FIC.UBA (Argentina), MIDBO (Colombia), and CORRIENTE (Peru). In 2025, he participated at Aciertos Section of FICUNAM (Mexico) and Cinema Pendent of L’Alternativa (Spain). He is currently filming his first feature-length documentary, Soil Maps, with support from the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts.
