After more than 50 years in prison, wrongly sentenced to death in Texas, César Fierro is deported to his native Mexico and rediscovers freedom. After spending most of his life in total isolation, he has to struggle to relearn the city, taste, work and even friendship.

Santiago Esteinou is a documentary filmmaker and producer from Mexico City. He studied cinematography in Mexico’s Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and Temple University, in Philadelphia. Later he completed a master's degree in Human Rights and Democracy at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences.
