When should one give up on adventure, on life's pleasures, on the desire to love?
Is there a deadline for desire? This film explores the impulses of life in places often associated with the end, nursing homes. It is based on the dialogues and encounters held during an artistic project offered to residents almost a century old.

Ron Vargas is a director and cinematographer who has worked notably on documentary films dedicated to social issues, such as migration or disability. He won the Best Documentary Short Film Award at the Faito Doc Festival 2014 in Italy as well as the Institutional Work Prize from SCAM in 2018 in France. He is a founding member of the Utopía Collectif Cinéma and is also a member of various collectives of artists and filmmakers.
Additionally, Ron Vargas has worked as a photographer for newspapers, fashion magazines, advertising agencies, and has taught in several vocational training centers in Bolivia, Paraguay, Finland, and France.
