An anthropologist settles in Svalbard (Norway) to study the vision of the future of its inhabitants. She discovers that not only icebergs are melting in the Arctic. The welcoming of 30 nationalities, once a pillar of society, is giving way to rising nationalism. The neutral observation of this change turns out to be more difficult than expected for the researcher.
