When Tomatoes Met Wagner

Marianna Economou studied Anthropology, Photojournalism and film production in London. Since 2000, she directs feature documentaries which have been internationally acclaimed in festivals and broadcasted worldwide. The Longest Run (2015) was selected for the European Film Awards 2016 and won the VER.DI award at Leipzig Doc festival. Her documentary When Tomatoes Met Wagner (2019) premiered at Berlin International Film Festival and was the Greek official selection for the Academy Awards. For the Greek Bar Jacket (2022), Marianna was given carte blanche from Dior to follow the creation of the 2022 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
