This call for projects is open to directors and producers until Monday 20 November 2023.
◤ The European First Films Pitches session will take place during the next edition of the festival, in Biarritz, from 19 to 27 January 2024.
◤ The chosen projects will be pitched on the 23rd of January 2024, on site by their project holders to professionals attending FIPADOC Industry Days.
◤ All selected projects will benefit from an online meeting with the moderator and will profit from a tailored coaching.
◤The participation is free of charge.
Project Eligibility & project Selection
Before starting your submission, please download and read carefully our official regulations about Project Eligibility & Selection.
Directors submitting their project must come from territories participating in the Doc Around
Europe festival network (DocsBarcelona, DOK.fest München, MakeDox, Verzió, and FIPADOC):
– Spain,
– Germany, Austria, German speaking Switzerland, German speaking South Tyrol,
– Greece, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia
& Herzegovina, Slovenia, Turkey, Romania,
– Hungary
– France, French speaking Belgium, Luxembourg, French speaking Switzerland
Project Application & requirements
A complete project application should be submitted online by the project deadline (Monday 20 November 2023). Please have all the material listed below in the application form guidelines ready before you begin. All material must be in English.
An incomplete application cannot be validated by the system.

Accreditation
◤ The Festival will grant the director of selected projects a free FIPADOC professional pass.
◤Reimbursement for travel and accommodation is offered for the directors of the selected projects.
