For the first time in 2026 and following our will to establish Fipadoc as one of the key events dedicated to documentary filmmaking in Europe, we have developped an ambitious program of international delegations to bring to Biarritz talented filmmakers and professionals from all around the world ! Each of these delegation will be mentored by a dedicated matchmaker.

GEORGIA
Thanks to the support of the French Institute of Georgia and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will host for the first time a delegation of professionals from Georgia. This delegation will be mentored by Estelle Robin You (Grande Ourse Films) and coordinated thanks to the support of DOCA. A dedicated session to meet the Georgian delegation will take place on Tuesday 27th at 10am (upon prior registration).
CENTRAL ASIA
Thanks to the support of Canal France International (CFI) and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will host for the first time a delegation of professionals from Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kirghizistan, Tadjikistan). This delegation will be mentored by Laurence Uebersfeld (LUFilms). A dedicated session to meet the Central Asia delegation will take place on Wednesday 28th at 2.30pm.

NIGERIA
Through a close collaboration with StoryMi and thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Nigeria, we will host a delegation of professionals from Nigeria. This delegation will be mentored by Sophie Bouillon (StoryMi). A dedicated pitching session to meet these Nigerian talents will take place on Tuesday 27th at 11am (followed by one-to-one meetings), moderated by Stéphanie Lebrun (Babel Doc).

VISEGRAD
Following our long-term commitment toward the Visegrad countries (our 2021 Focus territory dedicated to Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia) and the close bonds we have created with professionals from the region, we propose a dedicated co-production session gathering French and Visegrad producers eager to meet with peers and to extend their professional networks. This Producers Meet Producers session will take place on Tuesday 27th at 3.15pm (open only to selected participants), moderated by Zdenek Blaha (Czech Republic).

BALKAN
Following our 2025 Focus territory dedicated to the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia), we propose a dedicated co-production session gathering French and Balkan producers eager to meet with peers and to extend their professional networks. This Producers Meet Producers session will take place on Tuesday 27th at 3.15pm (open only to selected participants), moderated by Darko Nabakov (MakeDox, North Macedonia).

FOCUS TERRITORY 2026
In the frame of our 2026 Focus territory dedicated to our close friends from Spain and Portugal, we will welcome a large number of representatives from these industries: directors, producers, broadcasters, funds representatives, festivals, etc. Several dedicated sessions will be part of the Industry Days program and highlight members of these delegations.
